Rehabilitation nach Hemiparese und Aphasie:Einige neuere Einsichten zu Grundlagen und Aussichten auf neue Therapien

Zusammenfassung
In dieser Übersicht werden die Organisation des motorischen und sprachlichen Systems besprochen sowie die Änderungen der Organisation, die nach einem Schlaganfall auftreten, wenn Patienten sich von einer Hemiparese oder Aphasie erholen. Sowohl das motorische als auch das sprachliche System können als ein Netz von verschiedenen Arealen betrachtet werden, die alle eng zusammenarbeiten, um die Funktion zufriedenstellend auszuüben. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden einige Beispiele neuerer Therapien und möglicher zukünftiger Entwicklungen angesprochen. Auch ist es wahrscheinlich, daß das bessere Verständnis der Organisation und Reorganisation zu mehr individuellen Therapien für individuelle Patienten führen wird.

Rehabilitation of hemiparesis and aphasia: Some new insights in basic principles and prospects of new therapies

Abstract
This review deals with the organisation of the motor and language system, as well as with the reorganisation that occurs when patients improve from hemiparesis and aphasia after stroke. Both the motor and language system can be seen as networks of areas that closely cooperate for a proficient performance. Against this background, some examples of new therapies and possible future developments are given. It is also probable that this better understanding of organisation and reorganisation will lead to more individual therapies for individual patients.
